Compare phones with a plan
Looking for a new smartphone including a plan? Compare the latest devices here such as the iPhone 17, Samsung Galaxy S26, OnePlus and other Android phones combined with a plan from KPN, Odido, Vodafone or Ben. For each offer you see the monthly price, the one-off device costs and the data bundle, so you can assess the total cost over the contract term at a glance.
Look at the total price, not just the monthly price
A device paid off in instalments is a form of borrowing. You pay for the phone spread out through your monthly plan. A low monthly price can be misleading if the contract term is long or the one-off costs are high. So always multiply the monthly price by the number of months, plus any down payment, to know the real cost.
How much data do you need?
If you mainly use your phone for calling, messaging and the occasional social media, 5 to 10 GB per month is usually enough. If you stream a lot of video or use your phone as a hotspot, choose 15 GB or more, or an unlimited data bundle. A bundle that is too large costs unnecessary money; one that is too small leads to buying extra.
Which network suits you?
KPN has the widest national coverage, Odido scores strongly in urban areas and Vodafone offers a good balance. Check the coverage at your home and work address if a stable connection matters to you.
Want a plan but no new device?
If you already have a phone that works well, you are often better off with a standalone plan. In that case compare our SIM only offers — you then don't pay for a device and the monthly price is lower. If you also want to compare your home internet, go to our internet and TV comparison.
Frequently asked questions about phones with a plan
Is a phone with a plan cheaper than buying separately?
Not always. Buying a device separately with a SIM only plan is often cheaper, but with a phone on a plan you spread the costs. Compare the total price over the contract term to decide what is most favourable for you.
Is a device in instalments the same as borrowing?
Yes. You pay for the device spread out through your plan, which is a form of credit. So always look at the total cost over the contract term and not just the monthly price.
Can I keep my mobile number?
Yes, you can almost always transfer your existing mobile number to a new provider. Indicate this when signing up; the new provider arranges the transfer.
Which data bundle do I need?
For light use, 5 to 10 GB per month is enough. For lots of streaming or hotspot use, 15 GB or an unlimited bundle is wiser.
